Steam and internet...

I love to play game a lot and apparently my internet connection is DSL 256k. (i kno sucks right) but can someone give me help on why it sets it to DSL/CABLE 2m thing and lags the crap out of me.

I have to minimize game a lot and set it back...

Any answers?

Do not challenge the STEAM Internet Speed lol..

I use th 2 MB Speed cause thats what i have

I think he really needs help here... you can set it that way but you should be able to adjust the MTU on your nic card. this should be able to relieve some of that packet stress that the game is encountering.
