I get that when i try joining the DOD:S servers, I want to play and all but it wont let me, i did verify my id ticket. makes me wonder if my computer is on its period o.o

it would be nice if i can get some help if any1 knows how to fix this.

Go into your steam folder and delete the client registry blob thingy. I heard that works.

Change user in steam. Exist steam. Then erase Steam.Dll, SteamUi.dll, Clienregistry.blob. Restart steam. Log in. Might have to do it every time steam updates.

Those are both really just temporary fixes. This has been happening alot on our flash server for the past few weeks. They fixed the problem a week or two after the update but now its back.

Yeah this has been happening on flash a lot. I hadn't had the problem for months and months until I connected to the strand server and got it off the bat a couple weeks ago. Just a strange coincidence maybe.

Also NOTHING I've tried works, it seems to be completely random. Logging out/restarting steam, deleting files & letting steam rebuild, rebooting router... I've done them all, alone or in tandem, without a consistent fix.

What does seem to work, is when you get it on one server, chances are you can join another without issue.

Subscribe to the steam forums and look up the answer. At one point my computer locked up when I tried to start DOD:S. I had to reinstall steam and all games. Good Luck

The fix for me when it happens is to log out of my Windows account or, if that doesn't work, reboot the computer. From what I've seen I only seem to get it when the Steam client fails to close properly or if I lock my account (the wife has her own) and then don't go back into it relatively quickly (e.g., not until a day or two later).

Geez is'nt this funny. I go to join the worst weapon scrim and now I get the same problem.

The problem is known to occur with Flash and Strand, and it's being addressed...
