Well... Need help choosing either ATi graphic card...

Hello guys,

I am a Nvidia fan, but due to the lack of their price (Yes I mean the price are HUGE! on the 8600GT(S) and 8800GT(S). )... so I decided to move on to ATi! So which one should I buy?

(LOL I ever knew ATi was such amazing beautiful card, almost like eye candy to me ).

I'm looking if it can beat 8400GS! (Suckish card, but I don't wanna waste money on something that can't beat 8400GS).

I tried to choose the cheap ones, I think Option 1 and 2 is good, Option 3 is kinda good I guess, depending on what you guys think... Option 4 I dunno about this one...

Well let's see here...
option 1 shouldn't be there since options 2 and 3 have it beat at the same price and at a lower price, respectively. However be wary if you choose option 3; that's an open box discounted item, and newegg has no refunds.
Option 4 I don't get; it's the most expensive but seems to have no extra features that the others don't already have... I'd give that one a look over on ATI's website and see if maybe you can find more info on it there, if you're interested in that one.

Tomssound, I am not a extreme gamer if you notice, I only wanna play left 4 dead, TF2, Half life 2 smod redux, little big planet ( which will work for the card), spore, fallout 3, Gears of war, Unreal tournament 3, call of duty 4 and that is all, I no need for Crysis, or Far cry 2... Beside my dad will see the intense violence and take the game away D: (usually Gow, but he loves that game odd... and any game made by valve, but he doesn't recommend me to play those 2 games anyway).

PS: I want only 40-100$ money anyway, I made A's and B's and my dad is giving me the money.

Killzone, I have switched long time ago, when the damned EVGA priced the 8800GTS too high and I will know I won't even get them.

this tiny monster is UNDER 100$ and will play crysis at med all and x2 aa even higher without aa on and thats on DX10 i recommend it, its the ati 4670 using the same technolagy as the 4870 and 4870x2 so you know its uber 1337 thats why im hoppen to get but the one i want is a duel slot 4670 for better cooling lol

EDIT: will blow those cards out of the water and is better then anything Nvidia has for the same price

EDIT again: and it dosen't take any power it will run right off your mobo so its epic

Skip the VGA cooler and stick that extra money into a better PSU... getting at least a 600watt is a good idea and it will work more efficiently since you won't be dragging it to its limit.

All of the games listed would really use the power of the 4850.
Personally... for any type of gaming. I wouldn't go with anything less.
You'll be prepared for any games that come out .. for a while

if you read he alrady picked his choice so and also the 450 he picked will do fine for that card it take like 65 watts or somthing like that

Yeah 600 watts is not necessary unless you are running crossfire / sli setup.

Even 500 or 550 is usually more than enough for a single high end card. unless you are running a gx2 or something =p

I'm getting the 4650 or whatever, its really at a good price right now, and my dad agreed and let me buy it , he says I get 20$ for a's and 10$ for b's, so I got anough to buy it, the 4850 is way to much for me anyway. And I am buying a 550 watt like Firesauce told me, i'm taking the Overnight thing, which will come tomorrow I guess. Or somewhere.

Lol , hoping to play TF2 on AA 4x soon with that thing, and use alot of exploding to see the combustion in garrysmod, and half life 2 smod with my map I am making, continuos zombie .
Hoping to play L4d on it also. Probably I will get a 550 - 450... I have at least... 4 case fans (all 2 customize to cool the graphic card) and a AMD fan for the motherboard/processor.
