How to change steams internet browser

Hey, you know when steam has updates and they give you the pop-up.
Or when you open the steam store through "steam" it uses IE

Well i dont have IE, i use mozilla, so it trys to use IE and since its not installed it just says "page cannot be displayed" inside a steam pop up window.

Is there a way to change the browser my steam uses?

Just to clarify this is what it gives me:

Anything where steam needs to use the internet browser.
This includes:
-the store
-pop-ups on steam updates
-In game MOTD's

You can kinda see why i would like to fix this. Im missing out on alot of important information and its frustrating.

unfortunately, last time I checked there is no possible way to switch it. You may just have to install IE seven.

Ugh, i absolutely hate IE...

Nobody likes IE...but it's required for a lot of things, so deal with it. I had to get IE working on my linux box just for steam.

IE is a joke, its so bad, but yeah a lot of programs still need it

They're not forcing you to use it outside of steam, though.
