Call of Duty 5 HELP!

ok guys I decided to blow $50 and get cod5 WaW and I am looking at putting my name, and It wont let me put Iceman because "that name is unavailable" so I put something along the lines of Iceman, and then I went into clan tags because It wont let you put =(e)= infront of your name.. and It only allows 4 characters... so I cant put my clan symbol in front of my name... any help would be greatly appreciated

Yeah... they really botched that (Treyarch) .
4 characters for a clan tag is ridiculous.
I also don't like how they have locked names to one person.

The best part is after you beat the game. It's a zombie multiplayer it's extremeley fun.

i bought the game and i played it till mission 3
then the game shuts down and there is a failure message, only i can't see what's wrong
it only happens when i play a game from a cd, like assassins creed, cod4, ...
does anybody know how i can fix this?
i can play everything online but not for singleplayer

sml007 - My suggestion is, run the game in 800x600 and try it again, don't change all the settings you normally would change, if the game errors out, it should show you the error message. The problem you are having with not seeing the message is because your resolution on the game blocks it when it crashes.

So far cod5 single player is pretty good, and the little I have played the multi player brought back some good memories of call of duty 2. but now I cant connect, something is wrong with it connecting to servers. I think all stats are stored online like bf2 which I dont like as well. Graphics are pretty good, Have not tried coop mode or much online mode yet.

also if it only happens when you play from cd...
a temporary fix might be to use a cd emulator.
Copy the cd image to your hard drive

*sigh* again, I have spent all morning fixing the pb problem with the new cod5 and there are several bugs that need to be fixed like you cant refresh server list, if you do you cant load servers until you restart the game. and now a new problem, I cant load servers up, Everything else is working fine until the load bar comes up for a server, then it freezes. I have to shut down the program. I have tried several things nothing is working, any help would be greatly appreciated (again)

I think this game will be very good after all the glitches and bugs are worked out.
