Wii Virtual Console Gold!

So, where have I been the last week?

Playing Super Mario RPG on the Wii Virtual Console, that's where I've been! And I still have a day or so left (so sue me, I'm not overflowing with free time D

Nintendo's only about two-years-minus-one-week late on launching this game on VC.

I played it once about five years ago, and got 2/3 the way through before having to give it back, and couldn't find it for sale (at a reasonable price) anywhere. When I heard it was coming out on Virtual Console, I almost weeped tears of joy. Then Nintendo made me wait. And wait.

The VC is really the only reason (aside from Brawl) that I've kept the Wii instead of selling it... a big reason, but THE reason. So when the VC selections started drying up a year and a month ago, I just didn't even turn the console on.

On a whim on Monday (traffic caused me to miss Monday Madness and I was so sad I didn't even want to see an Engineer or a Pyro) I turned it on and searched the VC titles... and it was there! And I left the world of eGO and went to Square-land.

So... anyone have any other must get Virtual Console selections that I may have missed in my Anti-Nintendo funk?

When I got the Wii I instantly Downloaded from Virtual Console: SM64, Mario cart 64 and LoZ Orcarina of Time, epic games imo, Kept playing the Wii till i cleared all the retros, Even though i had completed them before.

If Nintendo made Goldeneye 64 (Not sure if they have) available i would get it as fast as blinking.

I have played Mario RPG, its fun but i only got 1/3rd through.

Secret of Mana is my favorite game of all time. Well worth the 800 points.

Also, Mega Man 1-3 are on VC. Old classics.

I download quite a few on my Wii. I agree with you, I haven't sold my Wii yet because of it. I'm waiting for Animal Crossing (tomorrow), F-Zero, and Star Fox. And also a Zelda game (no, Twilight Princess was supposed to be gamecube only).

I got a lot more fun out of the Virtual Console than I did out of a lot of the Wii's actual titles when I had mine. Playing Super Metroid again (It's still as amazing as the day I got it on SNES) was a blast, kept me occupied for a while. Got Mario Kart 64 and got to whip all my friends again on it after a span of years since I had my N64; sadly, didn't pick up Ocarina of Time or SM64 before I sold it. (Got $300 from a good friend of mine for it and my stockpile of Wii and Gamecube games, was a really good deal.)

Metoid is win cept the last few that Nintendo released, I've played all of them - even the GBA ones. Metroid Fusion on the GBA is probably one of my favorite in the series
