At one time Koolance would not have been as good however they are MUCH better today with there pumps and hardware.
I talk to the guys at Danger Den and Frozen CPU a LOT they are my buddies over there. They ALWAYS recomend going to a D5 Res ect but they also said the Koolance stuff is darn good for a no fuss system.
Anyway the D5 stuff will be here in a week when they ship the new Fusion Hardware for the i7 ....Stay tuned.......
Let me say this first: Koolance products in GENERAL, are fine. What their products are MADE OF and their marketing are what is full of fail.
I'll explain.
The two "best" materials for a watercooling system are copper and aluminum. Copper is the best, followed by aluminum. Copper is, obviously, more expensive than aluminum.
Now, wouldn't you think (well, some people do) to buy copper for the parts of your PC that are most sensitive for heat (CPU) and aluminum for the rest (GPUs)? That my friend, is a recipe for disaster. Copper and aluminum in a closed liquid loop do not agree. When in the same loop, galvanic corrosion will occur.

I forget which is the anode and cathode, but you get the idea. Mixing the two in a watercooling loop = no no.
Now, if you stuck with an all copper loop, ideally, or an all aluminum loop, you'd be fine. Obviously the copper loop would yield better performance, but that's not the point of this post.
Where Koolance (and it's fail) comes into this...is that Koolance makes aluminum blocks, COATED IN COPPER. If you read their fine print, at least on their old stuff. They JUST started releasing all copper blocks, and very few of them at that.
If you're not "in the know" about blocks and galvanic corrosion, you're going to be completely SCREWED when you open up your block to do a regular check/clean and see all that junk in there, restricting flow and hurting your temps.

BTW: The D5 Vario is an awesome pump, good choice
I got one and a second one coming eventually for my GFX loop.
