It was pretty good. The story is somewhat meh...though more realistic than past Bond films, overall it lacks the pop of the cartoonishly overexagerated plots of the past. The acting was good, Craig is definitely one of the best Bonds...though it would be nice to see him lighten up a bit.
The cinematography is both good and bad at the same time...if thats even possible. I'll try to clarify: The director Marc Forster is a good director, just not a good action movie director. During the action sequences the camera cuts far to much and what we do get is usually zoomed in and shaky...its hard to get an idea of the scale of the action. Other than the action sequences the film looks great and plays well.
If I had to give it a star rating 3 out of 4: Despite its problems, I enjoyed the hell out of it...but many would give it a 2.5 or maybe a 2

I thought the movie was pretty bad, actually. The cinematics were great; realistic effects, big explosions, everything you'd expect from a Bond movie. But the plot was very much lacking.
To me, it felt like they just wanted to add 60 minutes to the last movie, Casino Royal. When ever the movie started to progress towards a new idea, or plot line, it would switch to a different plot almost right after introducing it. I had no idea what was going on, and i still have no idea.

As far as the movie goes, i havent gotten to see it. Its to busy at the theater to stop and watch any of it. I dont like the new bond, never saw casino, and the majority of people coming out have said it wasnt very good. Not awful, just not all that great. Like underwhelming.

It's not as good as Casino, but it's alright. The second part of a trilogy (the first three books were one, I believe. I know these two newest movies are part of one either way, though) usually doesn't stand up to the other two, it's understandable. I like the new Bond, though; Craig does a really good job, and it's nice to see Bond as much more realistic and much more like Ian Flemming's Bond.
I wonder btw, now we've brought the discussion to Ian Flemming. What happens when they run out of books to make films out of? The Bond franchise is too big already to not continue. Would they get new books written? I wonder if that's legally allowed though...

i liked it, lol i thought it had an actually storyline instead of just pure action. and it wasn't repetitive like the old ones. where bonds is trapped and SHOULD be killed. this time he actually WILL be killed lol. soo i'd recommend it
