steam pages arent loading

hey everyone, im just wondering if its just my computer or if allot of people are geting this but when i go to the steam community tab it says "this program cannot display the webpage" and that im may not be connected to the internet and stuff like that i dont really get it. anybody know what could be wrong? or is something with steam just down right now and are allot of people getting this error too??? thanks

i have this sometimes
but instead of the message "this program cannot display the webpage" my page is loading (u kno the small moving circle at the top) but the page stays blank forever and never loads up

This happens sometimes when Steam is updating or they are getting a ridiculous amount of traffic. Give it a while and then try restarting Steam - usually time takes care of this problem.
