Summer roadtrip to Vegas?

howdy yall:

Every year I plan a summer road trip to Vegas during the time when the Sun is at all her might and fury, May-July.

These past years I went with my girlfriend and now I am single so I figured this would be a good place to get to know people I have never met.

Obviously I am from Dallas and I'm 32. So if anyone is from the North Texas area and over 21, if you enjoy the great Southwest and in love with the desert, road kill cafes and Route 66 feel free to get in touch with me and we will have 6+ months to get to know each other and plan it out. I usually stay at the Tropicana, MGM, or the Mirage but I'm game for anything new. I also stay a night at Seligman AZ (home of the true route 66) and meet allot of good small town people, eat good greasy burgers. We just have good clean fun. I also hear that the home of EGO is also based in Vegas???

I've been playing TF2 about once a week for a good while now for those who may or may not know me. I am DALLAS, the infamous heavy who has a nasty habit of punching sniper's scopes with my gloves on the 2 fort map.

I don?t know if it?s ok that I put my email address on these forums (I don?t post much) but feel free to get hold of me if you are a lover of the great American Southwest.

Actually, Council has actually talked about a Vegas trip for quite some time. Not sure if it has happened yet.

I can't go, though. Too young. :p
 
I went to Vegas over the summer, My girlfriend and her family and I are friends with Lance Burton the Magician in Vegas, he has a show at the monte carlo, so we stayed at his house for a week... it was awesome. :D
 
Dang, maybe I'll go east to Vegas and meet up! I've got friends out there and couches on which the crashing is good. As far as Vegas in the summer, it's hell but if you're on the strip everything's got aircon so you never notice anyhow.

And if you like the desert as much as I do (hence the name) you should check out the Valley of Fire, just east of Vegas. Always worth the trip.

YES SIR! I am indeed from Texas so I know hot. And I must say I'd take Vegas 110 degree heat over Dallas 100 degree humid heat hands down. I'll keep the Valley of Fire in mind Desert Rat, thanks for the idea because I do love the desert! Good thing about driving is you are on no time schedule. I go where the Lincoln takes me! Ha-ha!

Well so far, I'm thinking June is perfect. Sometime after 4th of July and hopefully if there no big boxing/fighting events, we can get some good deals.

Usually when I go, hang at the pool and later in the day hit up some bars or other lounge bars. But I?m up for anything new. Maybe we can set a date and if anyone can?t do the road trip thing, we can all meet up in Vegas.
 
Im in the Tyler area and am always up for a good trip, and the heats no problem for me :P
Im usually on the dustbowl server on TF2 hangin out and burnin peoples
 
Hey I live in Vegas. I go to Cali during the summer though (116 degree weather = not fun).
