Short Victory Sounds

There was a thread about a year a go on how to make short victory sounds. I love not having to hear the victory song play the whole way through so I thought I'd share this with everyone.

Here you can download the shortened victory songs that I play with:
DoD Sounds

Then place the german_win and us_win files in the following path:
C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\[User Name]\day of defeat source\dod\sound\ambient

Replace [User Name] with your steam name. When the victory tune plays next time it should be around 7 seconds instead of the long annoying one.

Hopefully some of you will enjoy this as much as I do.

I actually play with another one, and it is longer than those that are normally in the game.

I also thought there was a code to completely turn them off: dodwinmusic_0 or something. Someone of the KK once told me. If/when I find out, I will tell

lol I did it more because I hate having to hear the whole song when I've just lost and also its nice for the songs to be short when either team keeps winning a bunch in a short time bc the song gets annoying.
