Well im sorry to hear a dog almost bit off your hand, i can see why you'd be turned off to them.
But seriously, i have 2 cats (I dont have them, my mom does, but i live with them so ya.) and i just cant stand them.

1 cat just lies around and paws at me when im playing video games, which is "super cute" until she makes me put 3 pump shotty rounds into my teamates back in L4D and then I get yelled at. Or when she jumps on my face in the morning to wake me up.

Then my 2nd cat, a black one, is a skiddish emo kitty. If your within 12 feet of her, she immediately starts crying nonstop until either she gets up the courage to run, or you leave the room.

Thats why i like dogs, sure they crap and sleep to, but they can be your best friends. They'll actually do stuff with you and enjoy your company. Cats are just loaners.

That's nothing. My cousin got a kitten for her birthday and that was about 3 years ago. Needless to say we still can't go in their basement. It's not a tidy basement and the cat is sneaky and as soon as you walk down their it jumps out and scratches you all over then hides and continues to do this until you leave. It's the most ridiculous thing in the world

One time, I was walking down a street, then a wild dog attacked me...

So how you call them best friends? I almost killed it if the neighbors haven't came out, I was pounding it down with a nailed board, was about to pull my gun out also... (I carry it around, because of the moderate kidnappers that comes to street at times).
I prefer cats cause they are soooo CUTE! (I'm male btw, I just like to live in harmony, except I go off really easily when I get scared, mad, and any other things that trys to frighten me).
