i am having trouble trying to install Insurgency. Everytime i try to install it disconnects me from valve saying my "Steam Ticket has Expired". Anyone have any ideal what that means?

sounds like someone ells is using your account the "Steam Ticket has Expired" that happens when someone ells is using your account change your account password just to be safe i could be wrong. but i looked it up and a lot of people says that happens when your account has two people log in at the same time id rather be safe then sorry change your PW.

have you Downloaded any like mods or skins from weird sites if so some mods and skins may have key loggers in them if you have uninstall them scan your system for viruses and spywere never download from weird sites again.

Have you tried using the steps in the sticky regarding "error verifying Steam user ID ticket?"
Try those steps first and see if that works.
Steam just pushed a client update when you had problems, and it sounds like your client got messed up.

I realize it's a different error message, but the underlying cause may be the same or related. Steam forums (and other sites) are being flooded with people experiencing the same "ticket expired" error.
The penultimate fix is to delete the Steam client app and reinstall it. However, this will likely mean needing to reinstall all of your Valve/Steam games. That sucks. The approach listed in the sticky post to delete the clientregistry file seems to be working for a lot of people - not everyone - but quite a few.
Other people are just manually logging out of Steam and relogging back into it. That doesn't seem to be as widespread a fix as the clientregistry fix.
Seems to be related to doing a client update push at the same time L4D has been stressing the Steam servers. For more info, take a look at these forums:

ya i follow the troubleshooter in the steam forums. it lead me to delete some folders and renaming another folder, basically it was a manual way to restart steam and get and update. I guess it worked. Now i have insurgency. thanks for the help guys.
Not true. I had this problem when trying to download L4D, and my password has gone to no one. It told me to delete some dll and blob things, but after I did that nothing happened. I just got lucky when I tried it the next day. This has been happening to a lot of people, and I have emailed steam support about it. Hopefully I get a response soon!

Never ever delete the DLL files very bad idea only delete the Blob file deleting the DLL files can seriously mess up steam deleting the blob files work about 42% of the time when encountering "Invalid user id Ticket". even tho steam support tells you to delete the DLL files Dont.

OK let me Say this Again the "Invalid User ID Ticket" happens when you have connection problems with server and or Map.
The "Steam Ticket Has Expired" Happens because of one of two things One "you signed into Your steam account from another computer and saved your credentials on that computer"
Two "someone ells is using your account the same time you are "AKA" your account has been hacked.
The first one was the likely thing to happen if you did sign in on another pc make sher you didn't put auto logon and you didnt save your credentials on that pc if you did just take off the credentials by going to the steam settings then account then click "Do Not save credentials on the computer"
the second dose happen people do hack other peoples accounts by ether putting in a key logger in downloads you get for your games like skins and other mods not all have them but if you download a skin or a mod from a Unknown Site chances are that it has something in it thats bad if you find out your account has ben hacked go here
