omeganima having DOD problems

ummm yaaa im not a big comp guy and all that but i would play DOD some times and it would freeze just the game and when i exit out with my task manager it will just go all black and i have music playing in the background and its keeps going but it wont show my desktop or anything idk wats wrong with it ;;; someone plz help me thanks
