i think i need a new battery...it comes on for about 30 min then shuts off and needs charging....also when i start it up it stays at verizon logo for 20-40 minutes

dead phone is dead... When this happened to me (before i had any idea what to do) i had dropped it into the toilet while i was #1 so i had to flush my phone once to clean the water. Then i turned it on and off 2 times... long story short the cingular people told me that if you turn it on wet 75% of the time it gets fried. I had to get a new phone. sounds like something is seriously wrong.
