Division Scrims?

I was wondering if it had ever been brought up to do self-organized division scrims, like 6v6 or something, where we pick our own teams and have regular scrims or tourneys.

Would anyone else even be interested in this aside from me?

I think the only scrims you will see eGO-related would be our Dog Tag scrims (e vs eG or vs eGO)

We have decided just to play for fun, however, djsatan is always looking for new ideas for events.

I think that's a great idea. I'd imagine the dog tag scrims have such a large potential pool of players it's hard(er) to get everyone who's interested in playing in to play on the server. Plus, the TF2 division is so large it might be good to have smaller "bite-sized" teams/scrims for people to make new friends or play with existing ones.

Well i was thinking of something. It popped right into my head right now...so it's probably flawed

1. Have one(1) server locked used for scrims. This could be the admin training server, or a new server.
2. Have a few people to organize the scrims. Probably advisers, or people who can change passwords
3. Get people in vent, (12, 14, 16) and pick leaders to pick teams
4. Send the teams to different vent channels.
5. Get on the server, change the pass so nobody extra gets in, and viola! you have a lot of fun.

Now I probably didn't explain this as well as a could have, but it's something to think about?

We can have like an intermural ( sp?) or interhouse league sort of set up. Teams of six players in a tournament style setting. Of course this will be open to only eGO members. I really like this idea

I think there should also be some sort of preliminaries or qualifiers at first too

but yeah, I'd be up for that
