I know the JailServer's box is relatively new, but are we going to up the slots in the future. I only ask because it was full this morning and it took me 30min to get it because it was full and I waited for a slot to open.

Well it used to have 40 palyers cap, but it was reviewed i think because of how much of a hastle it is to admin, and hence reduced to its current cap, correct me someone if I'm wrong.

40 players on a jail server...whew thats trouble for an admin.

Its 24 slots because I believe its on the Insurgency box and they don't want to do anything to screw up Insurgency.

It would be way to much hassle for the admins. And there's only supposed to be around 8 guards, and 16 prisoners. 8 + 16 = 24.

 

[Mostly Harmless]

there are 5 servers on that box fellas. Dust2, Office, INS1, INS2 and now jail. That box has extremely high traffic, we need to test it as it is with 24 slots.

It may lag or go over bandwidth, thats why this is a test. When we know what that box will handle, the slots will be raised or the server will be moved to support more slots. Thanks for your patience.

i was playing a while ago and there was extreme lag so bad there was like a 5 minute wait to shoot a gun almost half of the people lost connection but after the round ended it stopped.

I think the server is too new to decide that.
