It its less that $40 i'll get it because it would be fun to replay half life in a nice res.

Ive been following this mod for years.

For those of you who dont know.

1. This is not made by valve, it is a mod, such as insurgency, except this is single player only.

2. This is a remake of HL1. It is not a port like that crappy HL:S. This is a complete remake.

3. Pretty sure its free, I think these guys are doing this for fun as well as a way to get their name out there to game developers (and yes, if it is as awesome as it seems, im sure some of them will be getting hired by valve)

Either way, Ide still pay for it as long as it is not ridiculously priced. Cant wait for them to release it.

I really doubt they will take money for it. But Valve might do a deal with them, but if so, I guess it would cost around 5$, because it`s a mod, and not a full game.

I think they will charge a small amount like $10. Look at Garrys mod. It started out as a mod and got so popular valve now sells it on steam. This is a mod but its also a full game. Its the original Half-Life but using the Source Engine. Don't let the word mod fool you into thinking its not a complete game or a multiplayer mod that can only be played online. Just because the word mod is there doesn't mean its short. The game will be 12+hours long and I feel that qualifies it as a full game. There are plenty of games out there that would take far less time to complete.

It is against Valves ToS to charge for a modification to a Valve Trademarked game, because that's basically copyright infringements as well as patent theft.

Plagiarizing on Valves Half life and selling it redone is a federal offense in the United Sates.
