I just installed vent and put in the correct ip and port and tried to connect. Every time I try to connect it counts down from 10 to 0 and says stop then tries to connect again, doing the same thing every time. Don't know whats wrong. Thnx

Do you have a software firewall installed? Have you checked to see it's permitted Vent to connect? You should be able to check its log to confirm its being either denied or permitted.

checked...i have a firewall....thats not the problem though
