Hey,

Ok so my dad has his Ipod but wants new songs on it, i told him that i couldnt give him new songs without deleting his olds...
So hes not happy

U guys know any programs that can like copy all the music already on the Ipod and put it on my comp, so i can add them to my itunes.... ???

Apples #1 concern is profit and making money, thats about it.. I have an iPod, I think its safe to say that is the only worth while creation Apple has ever made (maybe the phone too)

I hate iTunes so I wouldn't buy an iPod even though there are many alternatives to iTunes that aren't supported by Apple but work. iPods are expensive too. I prefer Scandisk's products. Apple computers also have there up's and down's. But, to outright hate one company or another is pretty silly in my opinion.

After being a seasoned veteran, with many battle scars, of Best Buy, I can honestly say I hate iPods. Most customers are too dumb to even try to understand that an iPod is an MP3 player but not all mp3 players are iPods.

Honestly, apple is brilliant. Got iPods out to people who know nothing about technology and can just buy one and start using it. Much like Kleenex, iPod is the universal name now.

And I hate it.

Agreed.
Their computer's are so outdated compared to PCs. My 4 year old laptop has a better processor than some of the newer macs.

Besides the pretty big price, they are pretty solid devices. Its definetly convienient to have alot of the apps such as getting directions in the car and what not

Never really liked iPods themselves, but I can;t function without my iPhone. Business or personal, I can't be more then 5 feet away from it.

4) Store > Authorize Computer
5) Buy new music
6) Sync

So many people, so few who know anything.
Apples not out for the money. It never was (except for the period after Steve Jobs was fired for running the company his way i.e. doing a good job and making it a good place to work, which the money suits didn't like), and hasnt been since he was hired back. I've talked to people who work at apple. They have great jobs. It's a comfy, nice place to work for most.
As for the price, I've done comparisons with PC lovers such as some of the people in this thread. Because Apple uses nothing but high end equipment, they are more expensive. This friend and I compared an Apple computer to a computer of equal (or as close as possible) stats from different companies. Apple was the cheapest. (Companies like DELL, HP, GATEWAY, etc).
As for whoever said they have a better processor than new macs...
How did you manage to get something better than a 2.4 GHz processor 4 years ago? Must have cost a fortune.
For all you Mac haters out there, I just feel sorry that you're so ignorant and close-minded. Maybe if you were more of a free-thinker you'd see why a lot of people like Apple.

Oh, and for the record, Vista is a crappy remake of Mac OSX, and the windows environment itself was a stolen remake of the original Mac OS. Brush up on your history.
