I'm most sorry to hear about your son's accident.

And its hard for some people to handle stressful situations WHEN they happen (especially a woman who is having to juggle a kid, and happens to be currently pregnant) the stress of that alone can make extra-stress situations hard to handle...
but i would have had her simply say "If you THINK its a fake, call the cops. otherwise give it back and let me out of here so i can take my son to the bathroom"

but i have always had good experiences at walmart.. mostly because i DEMAND good customer service... one way or the other i get it...

and $30... after being stress out... son soiling himself.. and 6 months pregnant.. thats a slap in the face. if ya'll want to just drop it, and let it go, i can understand (and respect that). but i'd contact corporate

oh its 29 they check? i better go burn those bills... but seriously, can't you take some kind of action due to the fact that they stole $100 dollars from you? sure they gave you a $30 dollar gift card but what about the other $70?

Couldn't you do something about that? Isn't that racial discrimination/profiling? And i'm sure there are some laws/regulations that don't allow that.

Wow are they serious? Don't they have markers to detect counterfeit bills? I don't think that the $30 cuts it.

And yeah they get crap wages and no benefits. Ever think where those low prices come from? Paying almost minimum wage to their employees and giving them no benefits such as health insurance.

I wouldn't mind them raising their prices to give their employees some health insurance, which will in the long run make them more motivated to work harder.

I work at In-N-Out Burger, and anyone on the west coast knows that In-N-Out has a cult following pretty much, especially in Cali. The reason is we work our tails off and have the greatest customer service in at least the fast-food industry, if not in all of food service.

Starting wages are $10 an hour. That's an amazing wage for a high school student such as myself. Promotions are fairly fast, especially to the next level which comes in about a month. That promotion also comes with a quarter raise.

Full time employees get full health insurance, vision, dental blah blah blah. But the point is, take care of your employees and they'll take care of your business. Wal-mart fails to the max at this idea.
 
lulz, everyone hates on Wal-Mart, but who really doesn't like low prices?
For all you know, the cashier was having a rough day and maybe the last time he got a counterfeit 100 dollar bill and came up short...
Of course, what happened to your wife is inexcusable.. but poop happens, and I doubt you'll get anything off the water against Wal-Mart legally, which is a sad fact.
 
Walmart is the spawn of satan... i avoid it at all costs (except rural walmarts are tons better than urban walmarts) and would rather pay a little more.

Just be thankful you all didnt get trampled to death like that one guy by crazy walmart black friday shoppers.

But you should probably avoid WalMarts at all costs, they are a drain on society.
 
We dont have wal marts here (except for asda) So am i lucky then?

But yeah, that's horrible what they (Wal Mart) did to you, dude!

They are truly a horrible company. From the nondisclosure of evidence in court that would prosecute rapists to stealing retirement funds and not covering almost a million people with healthcare (and fighting any claims on the ones that do have it), Wal-Mart has consistently shown that it is in almost no way helpful to their employees, and even to the locations around them.

I can go on, but I won't.
 
If only we could get some kind of worldwide boycot(Spelling?) going! :( Sorry to hear about that.

Lemme see if I got this right:

1. Wife Pregnant
2. Had Asthma attack
3. 3 Yr. Old has accident waiting
4. No manage was able to resolve the issue quickly
5. Made to stand for an hour
6. Pregnant probably means she needed to go to the bathroom too!

I would go back and ask to speak w/ the Manager. When the manager comes out I would ask to speak to the person that can "fire him/her". If needed give the gift card back... but then again I'm a #@*()#@ when it comes to these things.

That is crazy. You'd think they would be on better behavior, especially after the Black Friday stampede/death.

The walmarts become like the dollar store, sure its cheap prices, but all thier products are crap now.
I dont shop there, last time i did was when i bought action figures, so LONG time ago.
Thier all just a bunch of un-trained idiots, who can neither help you nor themselves.

And as for what happened to your wife and family, thats awful. I mean truely awful. If you could, give me the location of the walmart and the employee within's name that caused all of this.
you've been wronged and there needs to be some justification.

I know a guy...for this sort of occasion.
