Dod servers problems

I recently join our strand server and it took a long time to first load the server. Once on the server everything was so laggy put my ping was the same as usual. When i joined a team i only walked 2 feet then i would get thrown back to where i was. I also kept getting server connection problems in the corner that would flicker on and off.
Its the same for all servers ive been on.
Help me please.

I'm not a DOD player, but it looks like eGO just upgrade the DOD hardware on which all the (virtual) DOD servers run. If there's still problems, you might want to let the eGO DL or Advisor (or House Leader?) know so they can forward it up the chain. I'm sure eGO tech people would want to know if there's fine tuning that needs to be done.

If you're having this problem on multiple DOD servers, then maybe the problem is more local to you. I'd:

- Make sure you're not doing any other disk operations when playing. This includes virus checks, backups, etc.

- Make sure your game files are defragged. And your entire hard drive for that matter.

- Make sure you have plenty of RAM. Playing after a reboot or stopping unneeded processes is a good start.
