I was playing insurgency today and i noticed this guy that went,"yay,i am in a glitch spot",so i was just wondering if there is such a thing call 'glitch spot' in insurgency?

Yes, actually there are. There's a place on the hill road to Obj Alpha in Sinjar where you can crawl under the road and shoot out, and I'm sure there are others I haven't seen yet. We do not allow people to take advantage of these glitches, give a warning and if they do not leave the spot, or go back into it later, kick. If they come back and do it again, ban and/or file a Ban Request.

Thanks for the info on that spot Dryft. I had no idea it was there. If anyone else knows of spots like this, could you please post them here. Eventually when we host the INS school, we can point these spots out for all to see.

I'm sure anybody caught in those places will have a stern talking to most likely resulting in a kick/ban ... in my mind you cant tell me that you dont know that it is an unfair advantage and is by all terms cheating

You guys are starting to get creative with these spam bots, I like that . As to the glitching thing, what I might do sometime this weekend (assuming I have the time) is set up my own server, and begin testing maps. It'll be time consuming, and no telling how long it might take, but I'll check for any glitches and exploitable locations, and begin a separate thread in the eG Private Forums. I'll also take a look around some INS forums across the web, and see if there have been any glitch/exploits noticed on any other servers that we can look out for.
