I got the game not that long ago, and theres around 10 hours of gameplay. I went through the whole stoy and a fair amount of the side quests. The ending does justice to the game imo, I wont tell you the endings but I will say that there are at least 5 different ones. They generally depend on karma and 2 desicions you make at the end. There is so much to the game, I really couldnt be bothered doing. The amount of side quests etc etc is huge. Im going to say you can not free roam when the game ends, so if you enjoy exploring and killing do not go onto chapter 10. I repeat do not go onto chapter 10. I do not want anyone to reveal the game endings but if you have I want to know of your experiences in the game, how good you thought the game was, the story modes etc etc. I have ot say I loved it. I just ran in and blew the crap out of everyone, im not much of a sneaker, those of you that play TF2 with me, know that I run and gun :) but yeah share your experiences.
 
Did you get to level 20 and get explorer? It unlocks all the locations for you to really finish the game.

I beat the game 3 times, and this time I am going to travel the entire map and side quests and side interactions, total time so far 55 hours into the game still not done the exrtas. If you do it right you can get 100 hours of gameplay out of this game fyi.
 
yeah I know, and I was just searching for the endings and I found this "superguide" It has like all the locations for sidequests and stuff. I also wanna know who else found the alien gun?

I found all the ammo. I should look that one up.
 
If you want to know its pretty near the MDPL-13 power station which is north of minefield around that area anyway
 
Wow thats interesting, I was always curious about where that Alien crash site was. Also, did you use any followers? If you did, who did you use? Also is 'dogmeat' able to take on stronger foes like "super mutants"?
 
I had Dog meat, after around 5 minutes he died, ran off against a Yao Guai so no. He cant really handle tougher enemies. At the end I met a nice super mutant called Fawkes with a Gatling Laser and he was cool. I liked being alone though.

Im getting this game for Christmas.
Review got me interested, friends personal "tales" of the game, had me sold, and now all of these great comments just have me excited.
This holiday will be nice!
 
So I sarted again, blew up megaton, and am loving living in tenpenny tower. Naturally The explosion was awsome...
 
Hehehe, I turned 20, went into tenpenny tower, and slew all the guards, and tenpenny himself. I got so many fingers.... I felt like a ninja, ducking and hiding and running around with a chinese officers sword...
 
Nice dude, you done the tenpenny tower quest? where you have to kill the ghouls or help em?
 
my team consisit of... charon the ghoul... dogmeat the dog... me.. and fawkes the super mutatant. And curretnly im trying to revive the alien so it can join my team of crime figthers... AKA waiting for someone to put a mod out that makes the alien come back to life

I would suggest getting it for the PC, because you have access to more "free" content, such as mods you can add later on this year and next.

Also its easier to use cheat codes, since you can pull down the console, whether you want to test weapons, fix a problem, or make your next play more enjoyable its a handy convenience to have.

But I believe weapon damages are different, and I heard in 360 you can have more than 1 follower besides the dog (2 followers + dog). In the pc version that I have, only allowed to have 1 follower + 1 dog. Also the "german" version has toned down the blood and gore (Sucks for them, thats the best part!).
