SG was near a corner, pointed away from where I was comming from. I zipped around the bend and flamed it before it could kill me, although it hurt like heck.

If you catch it from behind you can really screw it up by jumping over it before it finishes turning, that buys anyone enough time to gun it down. Sentries have a nice rotational speed, but attempting to go up and down is a slow process.
