Graphics card outdated? ._.

i was playing DOD:S today, for the first since the summers update to something i cant remember anymore. but after that i couldnt connect at all so i stopped playing. now im back and i can connect. however i think my graphics card is outdated because i keep seeing boxes instead of smoke, and rainbows r flashing across my screen. did that big summer update jump past my limit? i hav a NVIDIA GeForce4 MX 440 with AGP8X. its really old i think lol. my computer itself is like 4 years old or maybe even older. could i tweak something to make things go back to normal again?

Sounds a bit outdated. You might want to check for any new drivers though, just in case.

i did lol. it said it was up to date and didnt need to be updated. even tho steam always bugs me about updating it.

hey dawn, i did some checkin into ur driver & they dont update the driver for that video card since its more than 2 years old. they stopped updating it back in 2005, so my suggestion would be to get an updated video card. now if u still wanna keep using the same 1 ur usin now, then thats ur choice. heres what newegg.com has when it comes 2 cards that use the agp 8x technology: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...10380048 1305520548 1069609639&name=AGP 4X/8X
with these cards, you wont have an issue playing games @ all anytime soon (well dods & w/e other games that uses the around same specs that dods uses).
