I needed to request a new username and i was wondering if anyone knew and could tell me where i could find my results to if it was accepted or not...

when have you request that?
If they approve that new name and if you have done it correctly it will show to you automatically when you log in our site,your password will remain the same.

Just in case you did not do it correctly,to request a new name you need to do the following:

Go to My settings,then in the control panel on the right lower part click Request Username.

After that you just need to wait.
