I like to use the Marines' MG (Support)....

On several occasions I am laying down cover fire, with laying down with the stand out, and suddenly the screen jumps and I am now shooting about 45 degrees off of my target... which alot of the time is almost directly at other marines... I have gotten several Tk's this way and I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem.

Also in my opinion, you should be able to get up from the ground without having to pick-up the stand... If a grenade lands in your face, only an idiot would pick-up the stand, then try to get away... Hell, give me the ability to roll to the left or right even??

One more thing... when laying down with the stand out, you can crawl but it takes like 2 seconds before you can start to shoot again... i think you should be able to shoot while crawling. Of course it will not be very accurate but if an insurgent jumps from behind the wall and has his sack by your forehead, at least you'd have a chance...

Any Comments?

yes i have this issue also , the SAW suddenly turns 45 degrees to the left unexpectedly and for seemingly no reason at all. As for the other issues I would leave your comments regarding game play on the official forum for INS

If it is when you are being shot at it happens to me. I think this was an attempt to make the game more realistic with panic. i don't know if it is that or a glitched but that is what i think.

Most support gunners run around with the bipod deployed to begin with, albeit with the remotest risk of damaging them. Such an option should be added, you go prone and your deployed, at the same time however, they should perhaps slow the prone animation down. This will prevent support gunners from diving at the first sign of trouble and spamming (a la BF2)

I don't seem to have that problem of the SAW suddenly turning 45 degrees to the left unexpectedly, however, some of the suggestion momo make are good, like letting the support gunner roll to left or right to avoid grenade and stuff.

Hate to bring this up but seems like i have finally encounter this problem, the problem of the mgs jumping off 45 degrees off target.

hmmm... haven't heard of this problem b4. And i don't usually use the SAW anyways. I'm more of a rifleman.

I guess i'll have to play more SAW to try and decipher what you guys are talking about.

But really weird indeed

I will try to get a video of it,although i might lag in the game so i hope you guys won't mind!

I tested the Mgs,seems like they fixed it,or maybe it's just that the thing happens only once in a while. . .

I use MGs quite often if I can't get a sniper or a single shot gun and I myself have never had this problem. I'm not sure what it could be, maybe just a bug or something? But as for Mono's ideas, I like them a lot. Especially the not having to put the stand away before standing up!

Probably lag, that or the object/flooring you are laying on might not be properly made (in the way of scripting)

last night this happened to me with the INS militant auto rifle (not sure what to call it)... I don't thing this is lag though.

No it happened in Bagdad on ins end of street... i think.. however i have had it happen in almaden near the mosque too..
