Snow in the south!

This has almost never happened! Today it snowed in New Orleans, Louisiana, where i live! School was practically canceled, and we have been playing in the snow all day! Oh my goodness I love snow! (I'll post a picture of my uber snowman later. )
Anyone else in the south that got snow today or yesterday?

I hate where I live during the winter. We only get snow every 4 or 5 years and when we do its never more than 1 inch deep. I envy you so much!

ya it snowed here outside houston as well but its melted now but we got like a ft 4 yrs ago that was the last time it snowed

I'm in South MS and it totally snowed around here. Not on me, but around here. Last time it snowed here was in 1993. Wow, I'm so old. I won't even tell you how old I was when that happened.

Just got the first snowfall of the year in Tennessee. We usually get two or three days of it a year, so it's enough to rub it in the deep south's face.

I talked to some of my teachers today, and they said it hasn't snowed like that for about 30 years.
