Vista!?!?!?!?

Hey does anyone know if vista had a MAJOR update?!?!?!?! because I updated my comp last night and today after turning it on it's like a new laptop! the background the color the icons everything is default what happened!?!?!?!?1

MS did release a series of patches on Tuesday..but they're not really 'major' updates, just a few recommended and important ones. It didn't alter my desktop in any shape; background, icons all remained the same. Were you using something like Stardock's ObjectDock? Or any other software which altered the Aero theme in a major way?

Some times Vista acts up, its one of those things that can't be helped at this time.

Gonna have to remake icons and putt your background back to were it was and your icon settings blah blah.

yeah, but think of it this way, it could be alot worse... like a non-booting computer after an update
