this was brought up a few days ago about which class requires the most skill to use... so guys in order of the from most to least which class requires the most skill and why?

just wondering what everyones answer is and please dont say the class you prefer requires the most unless you honestly think it does

the tohmpson is the one that reqires least skill all u do is spray it its ma favorite XD

I'm not sure that any class requires more skill than another. It's really about the characteristics of the person playing it.

For example, I'm TERRIBLE at MG. I just can't seem to fire quick enough, to lay in the right spot, etc. However, I am great at charging people, catching them off guard and using nades/surprise to my advantage. Similarly, I can set up the rocket and fire off a long distance kill with ease.

The real skill is recognizing your strengths and weaknesses, and picking the class that suits your abilities.

All weapons take skill in order to be effective with them.

I will say this however, the garand can be the best weapon in the game if used with a high degree of skill.

Skill, hmm, that's kills with the s on the wrong end. Gotta get me some of that!

Rifle

Well, if you are set up in the proper position, the MG is easiest to get a good score, you just set up where you want and point and fire.

I definitely think the Rocket is the hardest to use, You move so slowly while it's mounted you really need to know what u are doing.

Unlike some of you, I find rocket extremely easy to use.

Non-camping sniper is the hardest in my opinon. This means actually looking around a corner into an MGs eyes and taking him/her out before they can react.

Yeah, i think ur right. For me,the class that requires most skills are the rocket and riffle class. but thats just my opinion, other people may say that their bets in those.

i think the rifle is the hardest class to play cuz well... you have to be right on and its hard to get one shot kills and often if you miss the first shot or two your dead next def rocket cuz they screwed the splash damage and now its hard to use sniper 3rd cuz well snipers sit in the back and get shot at by other snipers so they only have to worry about 2 people really then assault/support and mg finally

my opinion SO DONT MAKE FUN OF IT!!! just wondering what everyone else was thinking

woo thanks for the indirect props :)

i would say hardest is the rocket
then the garand
then the non-camping sniper

although being a good mg is hard too

For me? Any rifle. I miss at point blank or don't fire fast enough or just don't see that one guy while I am aiming at another with the sniper rifle. Though I do like the sniper rifle now that I am getting the hang of it.

I love the heavy MG. Pick a place, grab a soda, and do non-alcoholic shots for every soldier you mow down. ;)

By twitch reflex skills, I'd have to say in order of most to least

Garand >>> K98 > American Sniper = German Sniper >> Rockets > Pistol > BAR = STG44 > MP44 > Tommy > Machine Guns.

hardest to use: k98, non scoped.
snipers, you have to have the right mindset, you need to pop around corners scope out knowing where to look, or camp from a distance.
rockets, even if you're no good with the rocket (i love me some rocket kills) have excellent secondary weapons - the carbine and c96(?) both are great close range, and the carbine is even reasonable at longer distances.

so, why the k98? Because it has none of the advantages of sniper (precision) and all of the disadvantages of SLOW bolt action.

If you don't agree, and have never played dod 1.3 before, spend a week playing it and you'll understand - for those that have, recall that in 1.3, the k98 has what seems to me a faster rate of fire, and more importantly, is a 1 hit kill weapon! having to shoot someone twice (in the upper body hit box) is an incredible disadvantage for the source k98, because unless you're fighting another k98 or a terrible assault player, you're pretty much done for... if the gun were still one hit, or were faster to use, or the ironsights made it that much better it would be good, and i'd say sniper to be hardest because you have to have patience... but alas, i vote for the k98. what an awful gun.
