So far ive just got the 3 sounds done for L4D, in this pack you will find the pistol the hunter rifle and the shot gun shoot sounds.
I have been thinking about starting a weapons sound pack since L4D came out and i wanted to see if i could make the weapon sounds any better and i think i have. Im still working on the others.
I found these new weapon sounds, ive put together have more of a punch, they sound more powerfull like you are going to put one of them darn zobies down, so here they are give them a go guys, with changeing the sounds in the sound folder is much easyer than adding a custom skin or model, but what i will say befor adding this pack is to back up the original shoot sounds for these weapons incase you dont like them or you just want to change back to the original.
For me i dont think you will want to change back once you have heard these weapon sounds ingame.

How to install:

Open the Zip file and put the sound file into your main left4dead folder, follow the path below.

C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\common\left 4 dead\left4dead

Just an FYI to quickly delete them if you do not like them.


Just delete the whole sounds folder, restart steam, and it will have the original sounds for the guns again.

Are great stuff, well i hope to have them finished be for christmas, but i do have other custom content im working on but i will try to get them finished befor christmas, and thanks for the posts guys
