I hate the Holidays

As the holidays become ever closer, life becomes taken over by my ?better half.? She insists on going to the ever-so-expensive mall photographer for X-mas photos and X-mas cards. I haven?t had any time to sit, relax, and play any games since November. I?m going insane here, but life has to be lived away from the screen.

Still haven?t gone out and bought my new mouse, yet. Decided the money was best put to a new car seat. Daughter's needs are greater than my own.

I'll be relaxin' alright, I'm leaving end of Jan. for "Relaxin' Jackson." (Fort Jackson)
Going for Basic. Recruiter gave me my first ACU's today. Supposedly, they're going to try to work with me so I'll be E2 before I ship to Basics. I have to thank my best friend of 19 years, whose home on exodus til the 2nd of Jan., for helping me finally get to the point of getting me to sign my enlistment papers. Took a few months, but I got into a shape to where I no longer need my inhalers for my asthma, so as long as my doc signs off, I'm signing. I'll get some pictures here pretty quick for ya'll to laugh at me. Haven't picked an MOS yet, still got to think that one out.

Still hating the Holidays, girl dumped me Friday Morning (4am), took off with my x-mas bonus from work, all the presents I bought and the kid. She didn't like that I'm joining the Army Reserves. Apparently, being gone for a few months to come back home didn't fly far with her. Yay for another X-mas that has blown up in my face.
