Medic mod

Im playing on the Flash server right now and the medic mod is not working. Second night in a row. Was it taken off??

I hope so. I personally did not like it - creates more spam - every 2 seconds someone is say medic!!!

Bleh, takes away from the realism of the game. Which granted, is already minimal, but that just makes it worse, and destroys game balance. Certain guns are designed to take you out in a specific amount of shots..... the medic mod vaporizes that balance. Plus, shouting "medic" in battle doesn't magically heal you. Ugh. If its gone, good riddance to bad trash.

I agree but it was still interesting to have for a while

As to realism do you not in the heat of battle have your medic and your com man and your machine gunner and such...if say a machine gunner gets hit and calls his squads medic and he gets some meds and wrap to stop the bleeding so that he can continue fighting he is now better than he was when he was bleeding out...now in the case you nail someone in the gut with k98k rifle and they call medic with 5 health left it would be completely different ,but the shear fact you do indeed have medics in the battles/wars. On another note though we are playing a video game if you want real you can sign up for the marines (not trying to be mean im just saying) i don't know about you guys i'm here to play a game I love no matter how real it seems. I myself am going into the military because I do love the adreneline you feel and the ability to learn and better myself while serving for this beautiful country. Regardless...I hope council fixes this soon

I play because I have anger but YOUR society does not let me shoot stupid ppl.

Bring it back, the medic mod crashing the server doesn't seem likely either.
Last night we crashed in Kalt, again.

really though... if you don't like it, don't use it - it keeps the player still and fades their screen so they have to wait for a bit for the heal, and it certainly doesn't save them mid being shot by you.

I liked the medic mod, and here's why: I think it evens the playing field for Support and Assault classes versus Snipers and MGers. The Snipers and MG's can basically camp all game, and really have no need for the mod. With Medic, there's alot more motivation to "bum rush"
positions and flags, because you know that even if you get hit, you'll still have enough health to still be useful after. I've noticed that since Medic has been broken, I've been much less apt to go and rush flags or positions, because I figure that even if I kill the mg/sniper, I'll have so little health as to not be useful for the rest of my life. This is why I hope they bring it back : I think it adds a little more speed and balance to the game.

NOTE: I hope that it's not instant anymore though - the ability to spam it was a little much, and I hope that when (if?) it comes back, there will be a timed delay for the heal.

lol i see that too. and tbh i think its hilarious. even tho i tried that 2 myself XD but i am in the army, and its a game, if u want realism join the army otherwise play this game with the mod

It was a fun addition and it made more people want to play on our servers.

IF you want ranks up i would suggest bringing it back.

And spamming !medic is a little hard in a gun fight.
