cd ripper (??)

i'm looking for a cd ripper but not sure which one.

i need to rip like 2 and a half thousand cd's to either wav for flac for archive

are there any that automatically tag them when being ripped from a a tag database or anything? I would prefer to use open source but buying something isn't a prob
