Yes, it could do SLI, but I think current games are cpu limited in my current setup - that and I'm not gaming over 1440x900.

Ok - sure it's only clocked 330 MHz higher than what I have, but it waaaay quicker than the X2 6000+. It should also run a bit cooler.

Make sure you have a Good power supply because these thing Jubei and I have at least 125W , probably is gonna suck all your power before it reaches the GPU and the hard drive, my 450Watt can't even power it up.... Since it sucks.

They are like around the 70-90s right now, Jubei is probably gonna make a deal with you.

Tf2 is a huge cpu hog and once in a while my fps drop to the low 50's in large areas with lots of players. That and I forgot to mention that when I play with photos I load up more than 100 or more from a day out with the camera. I've been know to take 300 pictures just at the park all in RAW.

Your video card isn't bad. I still have a 8800 GT in one of my comps and it runs TF2 smoothly.

You don't need a quad core for TF2 or photo editing but it's helpful depending on what you use.

I personally would get a quad core with 12MB cache but you are in budget so....
