I wanted to do a festive custom background for dods, but at the same time to keep it original.
There are quite a few festive christmas backgrounds you could do, but i wanted to keep the theme of dods, something that would fit right in with Day Of Defeat Source.
Well for me i think ive done just that, the painting is just great, i really like the plane with old crow writen on it, sounds like a battle hardend pilot who has had many a dog fight, flys that plane. I liked the painting strate away, the snow on the ground the christmas reaf on the jeep,i really think this custom background works so well as a festive dods custom background.
Ive only just finished putting this together tonight, Ive done 2 Old Crow custom backgrounds one for you guys who like the Day Of Defeat Source on there menu and the other for thoughs who dont, also ive moved the menu further to the left and down so you can see my new custom background better.
I wanted to release it sooner but, ive only just found the time.
I hope you guys like my new festive custom background as much as i did putting it together for dods.
How to install:
Open the Zip file and put the materials file into your main dod folder, follow the path below.
C: \Program Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\Myemail\day of defeat source\dod
*If you dont want to see the Day OF Defeat Source on your menu background add the resource file, to your dod folder.
