On the 14th, it was my birthday and my dad sad I can get anything I want. Now it's Christmas and again he said he can get me anything.

So I was wonderng what I should get....

Im thinking of getting another 24 inch monitor and/or a new video card (9800).

Anyone have any suggestions?

MOAR SPECS PLIX!, I think the 8500GT won't be able to handle 2 screens with that much heat it has to do. I suggest the 4830 or the 8800GT OR the risk of the 9800GT(X).

Some of the 9800GT requires a LOT of power as some review says in newegg.
 
hehe you already havea nice computer xD maybe get a better monitor haha and 24 inch is REALLY big

So your saying the 8800 would be better?

I can't give extra specs. I'm not home.
 
i say you get a $10k computer... then get a $200k laser guided missile guided defense system to guard your $10k computer... it will all make sense in the end

It'll be enough to play Crysis in high :D, but the 9800GT(X) are like Power hoggers, and willl require a big Power supply, 8800GT are really good for the price and big bang for buck for the GTS of course, but the GT is still better.

If your wanting to go for the 9800GT(X) go for either XFX or BFG, EVGA does make good cards, but not good enough :P.
 
I would say Definitely a new GPU if your going to be playing any new games, my younger brother only has a 8600 and it lacks.

Unless he overclocks ot of course, I say get a 8600GTS, my aunt's friend got it and it play Fallout 3 to High-Very High and other stuff.
