Meh New Upgrade

So After Christmas is over, i have a bit o' money hanging around, and i finally have enough to get a super cheap, yet in my mind, a good upgrade.

So here it goes. (and keep in mind, im going for cheap, yet good)

Current System:
Pentium 4 @ 2.5 GHz
Intel Board AGP
2GB DDR 400MHz​

Upgraded System:
ASUS M3A78-EM AM2+/AM2 AMD 780G HDMI Micro ATX AMD Motherboard

well my buddy has his old 8800 GTS 320MB version he will let me borrow for a bit. Ill be buying a 4850 to keep it cheap, and it runs awesome
 
Arn0t, just a word of advice, that HyperX memory (for both my board and brothers) didnt OC to 1066, we could only get it to 950 before they failed.... however, at 950 they ran perfectly...

Just my two cents, nice build overall ^^
 
ok ill keep that in mind :D

I just found some G. Skill RAM that was only $3 more. I personally have heard nothing but good reviews from G. Skill, so depending on when i order, ill probably go with them
 
Hurry up and build it man :) You shouldn't be that far away from getting it now. If I build my new machine first, my old machine + my old 8800 is going to my brother. Then your out of luck for a card then O_O So if you build first then you'll get the 8800 then my bro will have to figure something out. :p
