I just want to remind you all that you must never ever give anyone the details of your account

I would also like to warn anyone on =(eGO)=Carne=FL= that if you get another invite from him to decline it

This morning I had an invite from him thinking it was indeed him, but I didnt check my list I just noticed he had a (2) by the side of his name.. this is a copy of our brief conversation

12:31 - =(eGO)=™ Carne =FL= (2): my left 4 dead dont work
12:31 - =(eGO)=™Mental Buga: how come

He has also added my husband so its fair to assume that hes going to try out everyone on carnes friends list

who ever it is, is using another account for this, I checked the alias and there is only one where as carne has his ego progression. steam id for this guy is STEAM_0:1:4015948 (thanks dom)


Please keep alert guys do not give your account details to anyone even if you think its a friend

Did you happen to get the community page or SteamID of this person?
 
My account has been hijacked too and he claims that i buy left 4 dead to him.. My account name is " In Flames [-FA-] " so watch out for that too

But carne might have been hijacked aswell? I all know is that the guy that is hijacking accounts is from Norway, if it is to any help
 
Got some more info about the REAL hijacker if you don't allready know..

He is from Rogaland in Norway

U allready got the steam id and his name is Jonas.
 
And why do these people want to hijack accounts ? I mean whats the point. Other than to get someone vac banned of course. They can't get credit card info, they cant steal fake money, the only thing they can do is download your games, but a torrent would be easier for them... I just don't get any reason out of this other than to ruin your reputation.
 
What ever the reason is, one thing for sure, when I get, I'm gonna skin him alive, the rub salts onto his body, then wash it with some vinegar!:mad:
 
he was searching for one game and one game only, left 4 dead. Well a cdkey proof with a support ticket on steam should get your account back

I was thinking that they'd probably take the accounts both to play games they don't have and sell them. o.0

My name is Jonas and I am from Rogaland, and I swear I have nothing to do with this, yes, the guy is from Norway, he is on my friend list if i`m not wrong, i`ll try to chat with him later. But feel free to raid my place.
 
Carne, dont worry I know it wasnt you.. I could clearly see it was another account, just trying to copy cat yours :)
