Hey
So I am having some problems with my laptop. It was running vista then since its vista I was updating to service pack 3 I believe. When during the install it crashed. So I had to power off the laptop and now it won't start. Luckily I had put Ubuntu on it so I can still access my files. So since the holidays are here and I had a few days to fix this laptop I thought I would reformat the whole HD and just run Ubuntu on it.
So I insert the windows cd and go into the recovery mode and it asks for my admin password
I do not know my admin password and since it won't boot I can't find out my password.
I should add that Its a toshiba satellite laptop
that is a year and a half old
how do I get the password so I can reformat and remove Vista for Good
