The best picture ever taken.(warning huge pic)

It looks like my neighbor's holiday decorations. That's crazy.

think theres life on a different galaxy?

ya, i beleive so, one that eats us >.>

maybe there is eGO galaxy :3 mayb its the bright one in the middle :D cuz we r cool other clans want to surrond us and follow our steps, but they fail and die....like a plant :3

Ive been to them all, one planet is made entirely of candy and filet mignon, amazing.

In all seriousness, yes I have see that picture before, and it is still just as amazing, thanks for posting.

amazing!

:)and to think it all happined bye chance. now that don't make no sence now does it??
uuuh, cuz it didn't>?

actually i think there is life in another galaxy and another earth just like this a couple of light years away but not sure

And think, there is a decent chance that 1 or more of those galaxies didn't exist anymore at the time that image was taken

THAT is something to think about.

Ughh there just HAS to be life out there. All of those galaxies...and we're the only ones? I don't think so.

This picture is incredible. It's so mind boggling it looks fake to me lol

EDIT: I'm reading up on this picture a bit, and here is a crazy quote that relates to Stinky's post I quoted:

"The objects visible here are so distant their light has taken billions of years to reach us. Some of these galaxies are seen as they were 10 billion years ago!" - http://images.google.com/imgres?img...firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&sa=X

This picture is very famous and pretty old, its impossible that there wouldnt be some form of life on another planet, way too many for incredible circumstances like ours to be created again. The next step would be to find them, that is going to be hard.

Hundreds of billions galaxy's with Hundreds of billions stars(Planets) in each galaxy...think about it

Its reminds me of why I joined Astronomy club back during school days (10 years ago).

Youtube has a video all about light speed. Near the end of the video they said you can only see light to a certain distance. Using the red tint given off by the furthest galaxies we can predict the furthest object we can see is 13.5billion light years away, so that one object is being seen as it was 13.5 billion years ago.

What really freaked me out is that we think the universe only goes out 13.5 billion light years, but in the video they said there could easily be a planet 13.5billion light years away from us that can see another 13.5billion light years in the same direction.

This could go on for infinite, with billions and billions of little personal windows that only one area of space can see.
