More effort with Allies from ego members.

All too often your 24/7 Ava server makes for an aweful game, why?

It always seems the better players are more happy to sit on axis racking up points with one shot rifles and mg's while a usually less expirienced allies team just get OWNED again and agian, this is nearly allways the case.

Ive even seen eg's and ego's joining the map when axis hold all but 1 flag and joining AXIS and still stay there even when the teams are 16 vs 12! whats the deal with this? isnt anyone interested in getting a decent game going?

I plead with Ego members to make more of an effort to play and help out Allies, surley you want your server to be fun to play, when this team stacking, uneven teams and uneven skill level is in play its no fun, getting rolled over again and again with ppl refusing even to make the teams even.

I know theres allways the big aguement over wether the map is in axis's favor or not, even tho the map is allmost the same for both sides anyone who plays will know axis win the majority of the time.

When team numbers and skill level are more even its such good fun, taking, losing and re-taking mid, actually getting chance to make a push.

Please, PLEASE try and make an effort to play allies more often, help out the little guy, dont just sit on axis keeping us locked down to the last flag round after round.

Actually, I prefer Allied weapons, so I'm only on Axis if they're getting rolled. I highly doubt eG's and eGO's are always teamstacking, I suspect you might've been online at unlucky times. If you really think something is wrong, feel free to use u@ (teamchat started with an @) to tell admins what you think is wrong.

I always let the server pick my side for me.

Then I check to make sure that the other side has an eGO if myside already has one. It's easy to check. Just bring up the score screen (default is TAB).

Even teams are more fun. I don't have the skill level to make a difference that way but you make a good point. No one likes being steamrollered over and over again. Good post.

I think ppl should play whatever side they are comfortable with...I for one almost always play Axis. I hear the same arguement on strand...if you are tired of getting rolled well how about playing on the other side for once or pick a weapon that could allow your side to move up.

I end up playing on allies all the time, because they always seem to have a disadvantage in team size. Getting a bit bored of playing allies on Avalanche tbh.

I like playing on the team that is losing. It takes less time for me to get to the action that way. When my team is steam rolling I have to run allllllll the way across the map just to find one dude, and it's usually an MG or a camped sniper and then I get off one nade and shot in the face

I know this doesnt happen all the time, but i have seen it many times, getting rolled with uneven teams countless times earlier today was kinda the last straw and prompted my post.

And Foxley, trust me all the allies were pushing hard with the right weapons, but if u have uneven teams anyway and not as skilled players its going nowhere.

I, like sonicsuby allways play the losing team, the point im making is that more ppl should try and do the same. I would have thought especially clan members.

Obviously ppl are welcome to do what they want, but earlier today allies were quickly beaten 8 or 9 times in a row with uneven teams, there were at least 4 skilled "e"s on axis who seemed happy to stay there and let it happen, this doesnt make for a good game.

I think the Edge Gamers members that were on the server, on axis, should have made the teams even and tried to make for a better game thats all.

I know its easy to stay axis, its my prefered weapons, but making it fun for all the ppl on the server surley outways the needs of just one side.

Ava is biased towards axis due to how easy it is to mow allieds down that were heading into church.

It's not that easy. Snipers and riflemen, even nades can take out the MG on balcony. As for MGs in mid... let a nade drop down from yellow and you're all set.

I always remember the games where my team was getting owned and I get some amazing kills (mostly suicidal though). One time I got an mg in the bunkers from the beach craters on strand, and I shot him with a tommy gun! lol. Most people playing DOD don't use covering fire, they only shoot if they see an enemy. If you have an mg straffing the heck out of everywhere, the enemy will be very carefull about poping their heads up.
I prefer playing on the underdog side, victories are sweeter.

The only thing that can't kill the MG on balcony is the thompson...yes, a BAR can kill the MG, done it plenty of times especially with the added cone of fire for the MGs.

I just played a couple of rounds on ava and Axis totally dominated all of us round after round... The problem is not the teams, it's the map that makes and advantage for Axis team.

As a rush and die player ( I wont tell you why I rush and die) and have found over the 8 years I have played DOD the team which attacks usually wins the match so my advice to all players who want to win is go forward, you die when camping just as easily as when attacking
