Need help with 8500 GT

Well i was playing The Godfather today and out of a sudden the game just stop and the graphics was all weird, i restart my computer and when it get to the desktop screen everything was 600x400 (something like that) and it at 4 bit.. i try to change it but it still at the same thing.. and i went to Device Manger and i check it properties it have a Code 10 error thing..

Anyone know how to fix this?
 
I did like 3 times >.< even factory reset my whole computer :/

Well, looks like your graphics card is blown, as far as I can see. Other possibilities include a driver failure (seems like its not though, but try again), a BIOS problem (try look around the BIOS settings), or dust or physical problems in your computer, such as an unseated graphics card or extremely dusty heatsinks or such. Also, it may be overheating, so get a heat reading program freeware, just search on Google.
 
I already clean the card yesterday and i check it wasn't overheating, i got a pre-built computer so i cant really do anything on the BIOS..i think the graphics is dead >.< can i get a RMA since i still got there 3 years warranty..bought since 09/10ish/07
 
Lol yes sat :p im heading into tech support hell XD im going to call them or something :p i know email is going to be LONNNNNGGGGGG!

Or should i just go get a new graphics?

Well, I also had the 8500 GT card, and it also blew up for me. (Literally cracked in half) If you really can't find a solution, I'd suggest getting another card: there's many cheap and better choices out there such as the 9600 GT or something like that that you can pick up for under $100.

About the BIOS thing though:
Even if your computer is generic, brand name and not custom built, you can still access the BIOS settings. When you boot up, there should be something like F10-Boot Menu F3-BIOS Settings that shows up with the manufacturer splash screen. (Function key numbers [F1,F2,F3...] may vary with company)
