OK, first off rein contacted me and i had the same thing happen! well close anywayz like 5 mins b4.
HE WAS PLAYING IN KALT WITH ME EARLIER!
YES THATS RIGHT>
Somehow either by blocking or not actually having a steam account, cuz I went into player list and it said [unkown] just like rein's said. SO I WAS LIKE OMG THATS THE HACKER.
It said player name = [unkown], friends name = blank, the other name thing = blank also, so i was like omg but he left before i could get him, BUT HE GOES TO OUR SERVERS!

SO BEWARE!, i think he did manage to hack me though, because everytime im afk for like 20 mins or more, he (if he hacked me)logs me out of my freakin logon on my pc!

Hum thats odd. I get random friends requests all the time also. From like, noname blank people sometimes too. I always hit block....hummm. I guess I should hit cancel from now on.

Yeah. I'm getting constantly spammed with friends requests from [unknown]. I'm assuming that's the same hacker everybody's talking about. I'm just hitting cancel everytime but his requests keep coming...

When I was playin DoD earlier today, I had a pop-up in game that said "[unknown] was unable to add to your friends list", that kind of freaked me out that I saw that, so he's tried to add me so far to....watch out guys!!!!!

If the former, my bad for missing all the nudging and winking... if the latter, then those "unknown" friends invites are not attempts to hack you at all.

i been getting his invites for the past week and he wont leave me the hell alone

I'll try this one time and then its up to people to decide if they want to leave the cave...

But on Steam they have a beta for Steam Communites. If someone sends you an invite to join a community and you're not in the beta the invite says its from "unknown".

So, if you want to join the beta, when you log into steam look on the main page for a button, about 2/3s down that says something like "Join beta." I'm not at home so I can't recall exactly where it is, etc...

But, the point is, no one is hacking you. And, if you join the beta the invites will work correctly.
