Go with the gskill .and will it run with your older ram...that depends on what OS your running.
Xp only uses 3.3 gigs.xp64 16 gig.vista 32 3.3 gigs all the other vistas 16 gigs so if you have plain vista get 2 1 gig sticks and 2 512 sticks...i have 2 1 gig sticks,and am getting 2 512s next week.i have xp pro..i just posted pics of my rig frankenstien in the post your rig section. even tho earth watts says 17 amps.its really 30+ cause all they do is divide the main12v rail and splice into it.

ok 1st fatty, i know it sounds weird, but the bus speed on memory makes ALL the difference. u can have 1 stick that has a bus speed of ddr2 800 & another that is ddr2 533 (the 800 stick will slow down to 533 to even out the speed) i know it sounds weird, but thats how the technology runs, so its better to have all ur memory the same speed. also u said that u couldnt find the motherboard info online, which is rite cause those companies buy their motherboards in mass quantities as wholesale to save $$, but the info will never be posted. thats just the way factory made machine companies work. also theres no way ur 8800gt will work on the 300w psu, theres just no way. the psu u selected (630w) will work plenty fine. heres the memory equivalent for ur motherboard: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231018

Did you say you were planning to go SLi? If so i dont think amd boards can do it as of yet?? I thought it was only nvidia chipsets and i think the intel x58 chipsets could do SLi? If your not planning on SLi then just forget i even posted. Also do you already have the 8800gt?
