Also, I know it's silly but the best way to reduce ping is to just close other programs obviously. I mean iTunes isn't helping you play anyways usually.

i lag really bad with smoke grenades. ever since they made that new update to dod source about close to a year ago like that thing where u can take a still screenshot when u die well ever since they made that the smoke grenades make me lag so bad even on the lowest settings if anybody knows anything plz pm me thanks

But, I remember when it was concitered "cheating" when you would use an outside program to falsely add ping to your game. (You would have a fast connection, but the program would make you have a set ping for like 500 or so) does that not give said player an advantage?

Hey dude has it been uhh 2 years well anyways long time we haven't talked i had a heavy lag and also even though i tried those commands i still did lag because of the people you also should've added if your lagging for none of these reasons maybe because the number of players on the server because the more players the more player models they make anyways please reply it's been long man

Thanks for the info, i knew that one player's ping doesn't affect the others in ours servers but didn't have the exact answer, theirs always a couple of characters that complain on the server about other players ping, here's theirs answer!

Very nice Slayr also to add to what Slayr posted.
While I was on another server before joining eGO a guy talked about how to get your choke down. You will want to set it Lower and then move up till packet lose is at 0 or close to. I always got 0 and sometimes 1 I can't remember the whole thing what he mentioned, I hope it works for you all.
