Just wondering if anyone thinks its time for change. I like to vent out my anger by swearing first of all. But I can't because that isn't allowed on our servers. I also dislike how the admins will pounce on you if you say anything close to "bad." Dirty jokes are funny and they lighten the mood. I realize there are kids playing and they shouldn't see those kinds of things. But their parents must not care since DODS is a MATURE game. I just don't get why. Just wondering what all of your opinions are.

We are the only gameing communty thagt is this strict. this is y we are at the top . some people standerds are higher than others if u feel like cursing no need to do it over mic take ur hand off the key then say it there has been times but i just stop and say it to my self if u hav eto press akey then curse u have thought about it. most jokes said in server offend one person or another. We are punk free and will remain that way

Well said. Plus, it's all about maturity and respect. Not really the fact that kids are playing, but the fact that things you may say can be considered offensive and immature. That is not what we are about.

Yeah, admins don't pounce on you. I myself like to swear the 'occasion word' 
, but I do it either in vent (in a private room), or without my PTT button down 
Also, I've found great relief in the word 'crap' 
As for dirty jokes, feel free to tell them in Ventrilo, it really is a cornerstone of eGO.

Personally, eGO's rules also help me outside of gaming too because it gets me in the habit of not swearing and forces me to use my brain instead of my mouth more often.
So its not just for gaming but for outside of gaming too. At least that's my take on it.

When I was young, I loved to swear, it was pretty much, f this, f that, f everything and then some mo'!!!!!! And if you had a problem with it, F U TOO!!
As time passed by I really don't need that anymore, doesn't mean that I don't swear at all either. I have tried to play on another server where swearing and it's anything goes but it was just kind of annoying in the end. Yea, you DO get to blow some steam off but not in the very positive way.
Far as dirty jokes goes, I think I pushed the envelope and always test the waters on the servers I play but do keep it to a minimum. If NO ONE is talking on the side I'm on, I might crack a joke that's a bit more for mature levels just to get people to talk. Other than that, it should be filled with strategy on how to dominate the other team anyway.

SEND ALL DIRTY JOKES TO PIPBOY!!!!! and just to let you know we are strick on rules but thats cuz we have to be were #1 for a reason (probably me but might be the rules) and swearing happens man everyone whose on vent with me know that ill be in the middle of a sentence and ill get shot and all you hear is me yelling thats f......... bull...... and occasionally one or two words goes out on the servers.. not the end of the world just recognize you screwed up a bit and try not to do it again

Yea, alot of times it's tempting to swear, but it's easier to say it without the button held down. You won't offend anyone that way. Unless you have people near your computer xD but that doesn't affect eGO. But you know we all swear. Just there is no need to do it in game.
