I can't believe EVGA! They're the most incredible GPU/Motherboard company on the planet!

1st story: 8800 GTX went out about a month ago, so I sent them the card back via their lifetime warranty. About 2 1/2 weeks later, I've got a new card, only it's not an 8800 GTX (it's been discontinued). Instead, they sent me a 9800 GTX+!!! Not only is it slightly faster than the 8800 GTX, but it runs much MUCH cooler as well!!!

2nd story: I sent them a tech support request a few days ago telling them that the 680i SLI Northbridge fan on my motherboard was making a "buzzing" sound and I wanted to see if I could get another fan without sending the entire board back. I didn't hear anything from them for a few days, so I called them up today, and it turns out they've already shipped a new fan to my addres!!! And I didn't even know they had done it!!! :eek:

Please Please Please keep these guys in business!!! Buy their video cards and motherboards!!! Their Tech support is unbelievable!!! :D

Ok... I'm done gushing. :p

I really like them as well. I have one of their mobos (Nvidia nForce 780i SLI) and vid cards (e-GeForce8800GT) and love them both.

Agree++++

Glad to hear your customer support went well. I finally got my video card back today. It's an XFX. Their customer support is so slow.

ya my current vid card is an evga nvidia geforce 7600gt (recently purchased evga 9800gt) & so far have been a very satisfied customer. im very happy for ya dude!!

Yeah, I stepped up to a 9800GTX+ from them... Great company.

I bought an EVGA GTX 280, so I guess I have done my part... dont remember about a lifetime warranty though, guess im gonna hav3e to look into that because i have had video cards lately last me no more than 2-3 years or so.

The only company i like on Nvidia :D

I always hear great things about them, if i was going to buy Nvidia i would only buy EVGA

I recommend ASUS for GPU, and ABIT for motherboards. Their Fatal1ty series are awesome, using an AN8 Non-SLI at home!

And that Fatal1ty AN8 has everything a gamer could wish for: uGuru, nVidia nForce Chipset, SATA-2 Support, AMD 64, 64 x2 and 64 FX supported CPU's. The only problem is that it's non-SLI!

Plus it's got a double OTES cooler fan for the RAM memory. I bought it 3 years ago and even the kids that have new computers from December 2008 can't top it!

Heh I have a fun story about my first 11 motherboards in my main rig. So I had a 680i evga board. Lasted 9 months then the memory controller went. Went through the Rma process. New board lasted a week. Another RMA came DOA. This continued for an entire semester and a half. Boards would have he bios chip die, others would have the voltage regulators die. I eventually bought an entirely different board that I have now. But as much as I liked their prompt customer service (after the 3rd or 4th mobo they started overnighting them to me for free), their motherboards are considered to be iffy at best by me. Now I've never had any issues with their graphics cards and recommend them wholeheartedly, but as for the motherboards, I wish you luck if you decide to get one of theirs.

But just my two cents

Good tech support is hard to come by. Hell, I would buy EVGA just because of the tech support if they're really that good. I'll keep them in mind in the future.
