reccomend good video recorders plz

Hey guys, i was wonderin if you could recommend some good video recorders. I don't like Fraps, It's really too much of a system hog... So.. any suggestions would be great. Thanks

I would suggest getting a webcam like a Microsoft VX-3000 or any of the Logitech cams, they record on dedicated hardware and don't hog your system.

As far as software goes, I see a lot of people use Hypercam

X-fire has a builtin video recorder. Doesnt hog, and doesnt drop fps as much as fraps. Only issue is the video files are big.

lol, I think i made my topic a bit misleading sixsicsix. I meant programs I can use to record video in game, and thanks TipsyHitman, I'll check it out, see if i can figure it out.

Its real easy to use, just open a game up that xfire supports, and i think its scroll lock + v to start recording.

I just use fraps... so idk. I got enough video card to run whatever + fraps
